"2 Red Glasses Gambero Rosso - A powerhouse wine with decidedly more structure and concentration than the non-riserva (it just doesn't seem correct to say the "normale"), this is a wine that can cellar for another decade yet it is forward enough (with a few hours of decanting) to drink now. If you can't get the winemaker Gioberto Zannoni's favorite accompaniment, the classic and powerful Montalcino dish, Cinghiale (wild boar), try it with your favorite steak. Mike "Guido" Parres' notes "Wow & Fantastic are the first two things I wrote about this wine, when we first tasted it in January of this year. No disappointments now that it has landed. Greg called this a Powerhouse, with the classic 2001 structure and concentration. This is going to go in to my cellar for many years, and yet I would not cry if I had to drink this sooner than later (three hours of decanting and a big steak).""
