4.5 stars "Color: bright; Nose: intense; Aromas: citrus fruit; Acidity: crisp; Sweetness: dry; Body: medium-bodied; Finish: medium; Overall: well balanced; Despite the bottle age, this was crisp and fresh, with definite citrus aromas on the nose, and lemon & lime mix on the palate. The gammon steaks has a mango & pineapple salsa, and the wine coped with the richness beautifully. A class wine that would do well with full flavoured fish."

89 points "Riesling thrives in the warm, sunny days of the Clare Valley, with cool night temperatures ensuring the wines stay fresh and balanced, with racy acidity. The vineyards that provide fruit for the Leasingham Magnus Riesling are characterized by high altitude and lean, slate soils. Pale yellow in colour with green hues and brilliant clarity, the Leasingham Magnus Riesling has intense floral aromas of jasmine and citrus blossom with fresh pineapple and spice. The palate has refreshing lemon and lime characters with fleshy fruit sweetness and mouthwatering acidity. The finish is fresh and lively with good persistence. "
