Tasting Notes:
rated: August 15, 2007 , Roy Nixon
3.5 stars "A deep brilliant ruby red colour, this medium-bodied wine exhibits aromas of cherry and plum fruits interwoven with subtle oak, spice and pepper. The aromas follow through to the palate which has rich fruit intensity with lingering flavours of pepper and spice, balanced oak treatment, good acidity and fine tannins. The wine drinks well now, however will gain complexity with 3-5 years cellaring from vintage.. " Best 2007-2008

85 points "Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet offers some savoury complexity, with a suspicion of green/canopy characters lurking in the background. The palate is a replay of the bouquet, opening with gently sweet fruit, then moving to a savoury/foresty finish" Best -2007
