Tasting Notes:
tasted: November 9, 2008 , Kevin Ham
"Good, a little more evolved than 1st. bottle, after a 1/2 day decant."
rated: October 20, 2002 , Robert Parker erobertparker.com
92 points "The 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon appears to be a synthesis in style between the 1996 and 1998 vintages. Powerful, tannic, and concentrated, with greater density than the 2000 and 1999, it exhibits an inky/ruby/purple color as well as notes of creme de cassis intermixed with earth, minerals, and foresty aromas. With mouthsearing tannin and great intensity, it will be at its finest between 2007-2018." Best 2007-2018
rated: March 20, 2003 , Wine Spectator winespectator.com
85 points "Plump, ripe style, offering generous currant and plum flavors, finishing with a smoky note and firm tannins. Drink now through 2007. 500 cases imported. (HS)" Best 2003-2007
